My number one goal as an owner/stylist is making sure each and every client leaves the salon feeling and looking better than when they arrived. I have been in the industry since 2000 and I still feel that the most important part of being a great stylist is education. I have attended various classes and seminars specializing in areas from color technique to cutting and styling. Along with the hands-on classes that we hold in our own salon, my continuing education has taken me throughout the country, including trips to Chicago, New York City, and cities across the state of Michigan.

My ability to listen and understand my clients’ wants and needs, along with my own unique creativity, makes me a great stylist (and the occasional “therapist!”). Whether it’s multi-dimensional highlighting, color glazing, or just covering a few grey hairs, my forte is hair color. Along with a great haircut and style, the perfect hair color is the “icing on the cake.”

I am always accepting new clients and look forward to making your next color service or haircut and trip to Color Works Hair Company the very best that it can be!

Hillary Benjamin

I have been in the industry for 17 years and still very much love doing hair!! I feel as a stylist/owner it is so important that our salon as a whole continue their education yearly. It allows us to always offer the most up to date styles, color and techniques available. Being able to make clients feel great about what they look like is so gratifying!!

I work with a lot of razor cutting, color/highlighting techniques and curly hair. So, I guess you could say I specialize in a little bit of everything. We would love to see you in our salon and hope your experience is over the top wonderful!

Beverly Wilson-TenEyck

I’ve been in the beauty industry since 1981. In that time I’ve been an award winning stylist, owned a salon(12 yrs) and an educator for Sebastian ( both hair &make up) for 6 years. Education, both receiving and giving, is another love of mine…second to making you feel fabulous! I will continue to do my part to create beauty… Both inside and out! Education is a second passion both receiving and giving. The first is making everyone I touch feel fabulous about the way they look.

Tim Sinclair

Hi there! I’ve been in the beauty industry since 1998 and been loving it ever since. Being able to help people look and feel their best is the greatest reward! I also enjoy going to the hair shows and classes. Learning new trends, being in a new town, and meeting new people is so much fun! If you need a cut, color, or an updo for a special occasion, come check us out!!

Being a stylist has been very rewarding. Not only do I get to meet all different types of people, I get to make them feel great with a new cut or style. If you are looking for a new style or have a special event coming up, Color Works is the right place. I look forward to seeing you.

Lauren LeTourneau

My name is Lauren LeTourneau and I’ve been in the hair industry for 10 years. I attended Douglas J Aveda Institute and have taken many classes to keep myself updated on trends. Education is a huge part of Color Works Hair Company. It’s what sets our salon above others and gives us our edge. I offer free color and hair extension consultation. I do anything from cuts, color, hair extensions to waxing and formal styles. My goal for my clients when they leave my chair is to have them feel pampered and beautiful!

Heather Dull

I started my journey at Color Works Hair Company in 2012 as a receptionist. I’ve always had an interest in hair and makeup but after working alongside such a talented team I was inspired to become licensed myself. Attending Protege Academy while also having the opportunity to observe at the salon was so beneficial to develop a solid foundation as a stylist. Since then, I’ve taken classes on up styling, color, cutting, make up and new trends. One of the best parts about being a stylist and make up artist is there’s always something new to learn whether it be a product, style, or technique. Continuing my education is something I will always look forward to. I’m passionate about every aspect of my career but my favorites are dimensional coloring, balayage, event styling and make up. I look forward to seeing you in my chair!

Kaylea Richiert

I’ve wanted to pursue a career in the beauty industry ever since I was a little girl. I graduated from Protege Academy in 2016, got my license and started working at Color Works as a receptionist with the plan of also training to have my own chair. I’ve taken many classes throughout the last two years keeping up to date with all of the new and upcoming trends. I really enjoy doing dimensional colors, balayage and fashion colors. I look forward to meeting with all of my new clients.
